Spend more time in Phnom Penh with Sophear
Take her to Siem Reap and visit some way out of the way temples on Elephant back
To party with 1 million people in the streets of Phnom Penh for Khmer Chaul Thmei (Cambodian New Year April 14th)
To visit some out of the way out of the way villages and floating villages on the Tonle Sap lake
To volunteer for Camkids in an orphanage in Phnom Penh
To make contact with the Br at the Valhalla (Marist Bros.) land mine victims school

Sophear

I was lucky for a friend of mine in Phnom Penh to introduce me to his Cafe Manager. Her name is Sophear and we got on like a house on fire from day one. Sophear has an incredible life story (as many Cambodians do) and I was captivated by it. She taught me some Khmer and I helped to further her English. There are big plans in the wings and I cant wait to get back to see her in late March and to celebrate Khmer New Year (Chaul Chnam Thmey ) on April 14th.
