Cambodian Flag
In 1993 the 1948 Cambodian flag was readopted. The current Cambodian flag holds the distinction of being the only
flag in the world to feature a building (Angkor Wat) in its design. Red and blue are traditional colors of Cambodia.

Sophear
Sophear and friend getting ready for New Years Festivities
I was lucky for a friend of mine in Phnom Penh to introduce me to his Cafe Manager. Her name is Sophear and we got on like a house on fire from day one. Sophear has an incredible life story (as many Cambodians do) and I was captivated by it. She taught me some Khmer and I helped to further her English. There are big plans in the wings and I cant wait to get back to see her in late March and to celebrate Khmer New Year (Chaul Chnam Thmey ) on April 14th.
