Temples of Angkor

I was lucky enough in December to go to Cambodia for the month. Once settled in the town of Siem Riep the exploring began. Temples was first on the list so I spent 3 days exploring this visual feast of ancient Temples, dating from the 9th century through to the 13th century. Angkor Wat was the inital focus as its the jewel of Ankgor. Anyone who has seen this temple will attest to its visual granduer. First timers are seen to be walking around in a half daze, trying to fathom such beauty on such a vast scale. Said to be the largest relgious building ever built, this place of wonder never leaves the memory. Other temples are just as wonderous on other levels. I was lucky in that I managed to get some reasonable photos of which now some are on a tourist website in Cambodia.
